Harvey Bryenton Poole

Peacefully in his sleep, at 88 years of age, Harvey Poole formerly from souris, passed away at Andrews of Charlottetown, Sunday, June 6, 2010. Veteran of WWII. Devoted and beloved husband of 63 years to Myrtle Poole (Jardine). Loving father to Eric (Marjorie) Poole, Don (Larraine) Poole, Elaine (David) Proud, Cynthia (Dan) MacDonald. Brother to Ruth (Arthur) MacMillian, Lillian (Harold) Simpson, Jack (Pat) Poole. Grand father to Aimee (Cory) Lester, Laurel Poole, Crista Poole, Leanne Poole, Nigel MacDonald, Nathan MacDonald. Predeceased by brother Harold Poole, half brother Ernest Poole and grandchild Graham Poole.

Resting at the Dingwell Funeral Home in Souris for visiting hours on Tuesday, June 8, 2010 from 2 - 4 pm and 7 - 9 pm. Funeral to be held on Wednesday afternoon, at St. James United Church in Soruis for funeral service at 2:00 pm. Interment in the Union Cemetery in Souris West.

Memorial donations may be made to the Cancer society if so desired.

Members of the Royal Canadian Legion are asked to meet at the funeral home on Tuesday, evening at 6:45 pm for a Legion Service.
